The next generation of HDS is here. The new Lowrance Gen3 HDS-7 Fishfinder/Chartplotters feature a faster processer combined with leading fish finding technologies and an improved user interface.

Each HDS-7 also comes equipped with integrated CHIRP Sonar, Broadband Sounder, StructureScan HD, DownScan Imaging and Trackback features. This hi-tech generation advances the award-winning Lowrance target separation by combining simultaneous use of cutting-edge CHIRP sonar technology and advanced StructureScan HD sonar imaging to produce unparalleled views of fish holding near the bottom and around structure.

The specially-tuned, visibly better 7-inch 16:9 widescreen WVGA color TFT LCD display also delivers better definition of sonar returns, dynamic dimensionality in menu elements and a layered, strong and subtle color scheme for striking on-screen detail.

The exclusive new interface allows you to fully control functions through either multi-touch or full key pad operation depending on user preference and on-the-water conditions. Scrolling menus, cursor assist, snap-to setting markers and innovative preview panes with quick-touch slider bars also make operation faster and more intuitive.

The Internal GPS Antenna with 10Hz position update rate provides ultra-accurate trails, smoother chart performance and maximum position accuracy. Equipped with built-in Insight USA charts for Coastal and Inland US, it supports WAAS/EGNOS/MSAS corrections and is compatible with the most expansive selection of cartography on the market.

-StructureMap HD capability – Use live or recorded StructureScan HD logs to create stunning underwater images of lakes, rivers or seafloor. StructureMap can be viewed as an overlay, and toggled on and off to provide the ultimate in situational awareness in relation to both chart and bottom detail.
