FBF: Here's a way way back Friday with my first peacock bass out of Fl. I can not wait to get back there and catch a few on my BBZ -1 RAT. Here's to my bucket list. Whats on your bucket list?

June Gloom is coming soon! This is one of the most epic top water bites of the season here on the West Coast. You better have your top water baits ready, SPRO frog or maybe my BBZ-1 RAT? Just a question to our fishing brothers and sisters back East, is there a time frame when the top water bite just goes off? Would love to know. Thanks and Keep it in the BBZ.

Sunday's Slam: Some techniques just hold their own. It's amazing no matter where you go in this world that drop shotting a 6 RoboWorm with a 1/4 oz Ventana drop shot sinker and a Gamakatsu hook just catches fish period! Year around, all depths, all water colors, all temperatures and can be fished by anyone. Is there another bait that I am missing that has the same results? Would love to hear it, there are no wrong answers. Have a great Sunday and stay tuned, big new is coming from the BBZ!.

Stan The Rat Kaplun is crushing it! In 3 trip this guy has caught over 20 fish with this whopper 27 Corvina to top it off. Do you have any doubt that the SPRO BBZ -1 RAT can call up and catch anything that swims? I will tell you one thing though, there might not be enough room in Stan's 7' skiff when I show up so he can take me out and show me how it's done! Outstanding job Stan!

WBW: Tick Tick Boom! How many times have you caught some of your biggest fish on the lightest hits you have ever felt? Here is one better, the moment you just feel nothing and say "what the heck" a swing costs nothing. Here is a quick CPR of a tank bass from shore.......no its not a LMB smile emoticon. Countdown Begins: Less than 4 months before I am able to fly out with great friends to Plummers Lodges on Great Bear Lake in the NWT. One of the most spectacular trips one can go on. Will post videos soon on catching monster Lakers with my Tiger Tubes the same way I caught 50 pound limits of bass at Casitas in the early 90s. The BBZ techniques work on all fish large and small but I get a kick out of the larger ones more smile emoticon Let's all Keep it in the BBZ. 

FBF: Going Psycho, In the Big Bass Zone, confidence and consistency are inextricably woven together like threads in fine cloth. It's impossible to have one without the other. Have you read the Big Bass Zone book? It may help you find and keep you in the BBZ, just saying.

WAY BACK WEDNESDAY: Sierra's opening this month for trout season. Yah, I was a float tubber back when I was a young and thought I looked cool with my cowboy hat! My PB brook trout is just over 6#, not bad for a Cali fish and yes I did catch them on my doll hair jigs (Phat Flys).
