John Crews and his Missile Baits w/ Bill Siemantel
Taking time with John Crews and Shannon Wheeler from the Missile Bait Company at this years ICAST. John has some cool stuff coming out and I am really liking the Warlock Head.
Spro BBZ-1 Crank-N- Swim by Bill Siemantel
Just a fun little clip showing the new BBZ-1 2.5 Crank-n-Swim that I made for Europe. Chances are they will be in the US soon.
Help
Recently, the discussion concerning “help” in tournament competition has again bubbled to the surface and I’m not sure why. If you’re a conspiracy theorist, then perhaps this is part of the umbrella rig snowball that, in my opinion, has turned a large percentage of competitive anglers and their supporters into sniveling pantywaists.
Bill Siemantel checking out the new Power-Pole Micro
Had some time at ICAST 2013 to talk to Curt Hill from Power-Pole about the new micro. This is such a cool little unit and a must have for small boat owners.
Bill Siemantel talks to Russ Lane about his Fat Papa crankbaits
Sat down with Russ Lane at this years ICAST to talk a little about his fat Papa crankbaits. This is some great information about his baits, new colors, and proper line choice.
Fish Out of Water
Remember Fish Fishburne? I do. I worked with the guy back in the BASS/ESPN days and, despite my growing concern at the time about the direction of professional bass fishing, I took solace that at least one part of the formula was in capable hands.
Frog Fishing with Bill Siemantel and the Bronzeye frog
Summer time is here and this is the best time to start throwing frogs. I take a little time to show you how to trim the legs of a frog to get it to walk better and how to fish them.
Branding? Start with Quality
Judging from most reports, the ICAST show didn’t deliver any big reveals, things that would kickstart the industry like an unbanned umbrella rig. In many ways, it was one complicated mixed message. If anyone in the fishing business has any clue as to its overall direction, then please, give me a look into that crystal ball.
Spro Bronzeye Shad with Dean Rojas + Lake Havasu Tournament
Had a little time to talk with Dean Rojas and his new Spro Bronzeye Shad over @ the 2013 ICAST show in Vegas. Cool Little bait. We also talk about the up-coming Spro Frog Tournament on 7/20/2013 at Lake Havasu.
