Alabama Rig did not work today.....
Took a day off work to fish Lake Piru and figured I would use the Alabama Rig. This is a prime example that you need to keep an open mind in fishing because certain tools do not work all the time. The conditions where more suited for sight fishing and I was able to make the change quickly.

Went back to Table Rock Lake in MO. for the Spro writers conference and found myself showing everyone my BBZ-1 A-rig setup. Had over 20 pounds in the boat by the end of the day. This just shows you that you do not always need soft baits to rig the Alabama Rig.
