TEXAS BOASTS BEST SHARELUNKER YEAR EVER

The Toyota ShareLunker Program is having another outstanding year in its goal to create bigger, better bass in Texas. Hatchery staff produced 271,872 fingerlings in 2021 to benefit Texas public waters. A huge increase from last year.

“We are thrilled with the number of ShareLunker offspring produced this year, and we couldn’t have done it without the anglers who generously loaned us their 13 pound and larger bass for our selective-breeding program,” said Kyle Brookshear, Toyota ShareLunker Program Manager.

The following 10 reservoirs produced Legacy Class ShareLunker entries this season, all received stocking of ShareLunker fingerlings.

You can still enter all largemouth bass eight pounds or larger in the program through the end of the year to help expand catch data for fisheries biologists. All confirmed participants will receive a Catch Kit and be included in a grand prize drawing to win a $5,000 shopping spree and other prizes!
