Rigging for Salmon Trolling on the California Delta

This video shows a spreader bar set up that the John and Jonathon Polites use for trolling for river Salmon. The speed of your troll is important; unlike striped bass, you need to slow down. YBFV recommends two to three MPH and slower during cooler fall temperatures. Experiment with trolling weight size to find the depth the salmon are running.
