Matt Kobzeff Targets Big Bow From Crowley Lake. Sierras In Full Swing

Matt Kobzeff

Time on the water as a bass fisherman and also a gifted saltwater guys doesn't hurt your game when you target bigger than average trout from the Sierras. On a local trip Matt Kobzeff joined by his family and friends set out to look for some chunky trout and went to the basics of structure fishing to find their targeted species. While graphing they came across a nice creek channel bend that was holding fish and as the fish moved up to the outside edges of the bend the fish begin to feed. They caught their fish from anything that ranged from the old standard C-Rigged Velveeta Cheese to fan casting small Kastmaster to Needlefish. From what it sounds like the bite will only get better.

Thanks for sharing Matt and keep us in the loop.

Matt says understand bottom structure is the key to finding bigger fish (sounds just like bass fishing)

This is some old school trout bait baby!
