Bass Brigade Member Casey Locklear Gets It Done While Testing The SPRO BBZ-1 Rat 40

Bill,  Casey Locklear here and I had to give you a quick fishing report from TX on your new smaller BBZ-1 SPRO Rat 40 I am field testing. Steven and I were fishing at some of the private lakes I told you about that Steven manages. It was 8:30 so it was getting dark, gizzard shad were surfacing and it was extremely calm. Fishing in an area with some standing timber and a lot of large rocks I was slow rolling the rat past the trees and they hit it hard. Unbelievable how hard they hit the rat. I liked the noise produced by the rat as I slowly reeled it. I was using a quantum spinning reel with 50 lb braid. This bait fishes extremely well and it looks great. Just so you know I dressed up in my morning dawn colors to represent! -Casey Locklear-

On a side note: Our organization is Bass Brigade, it's a youth leadership camp that focuses on conservation and fisheries management. Myself, Steven Bardin, Gary Klein and several biologist from Tpwd, and agrilife extension teach the 13-17 yr old students. http://www.texasbrigades.org/Camps/Bass-Brigade/
