MONSTER PIKE CAUGHT BY HOLLAND ANGLER On BBZ-1 RAT 50 - SANDER PANNS!

My friend Thijs already send you a couple of photos of Dutch pikes caught on the BBZ-rat. What an amazing bait! This will become one of the best topwater lures no doubt. Today, I got a strike I'll never forget. Standing with a pair of waders in the shallows, I was casting the BBZ near the bank. In front of my feet, at the moment I lifted the BBZ out of the water, I saw a huge head behind it. I dropped the BBZ and let it swim with only 50cm of leader. The pike immediately inhaled the BBZ and a heavy but short fight started. At the end, I was able to land this meter+ pike, caught on a topwater!!! Of course the pike was released after the catch! I haven't heared of meter+ pikes caught on the BBZ rat so this is probably the first one in Holland. Your sincerely, Sander Paans Jul 14th, 11:03am
