7 Year Old Alex Catches PB On The 6" BBZ-1: Proud Dad Becomes Netboy.

Bill

I took my son Alex, age 7, up to a local.. Ok two hours away local lake. I had been catching quite a few big bass trolling baits and picking up the occasional tiger musky while we were at it. I asked him what lure he wanted, and he says, "the one that looks like a fish" refering the the SPRO BBZ 6" trout. We picked up a few bass along the way and being a little guy I think he started to get bored and he wanted to go after musky.

As luck would have it, after a second pass we discovered a sunken 12' rowboat.

The second his bait came near it got hammered by this pig 20 1/2in 4.68lbs small mouth bass. It was taking line and he couldn't get it out of the holder. Once my line was out of the way I helped to get it out of the holder. My little guy fought it the whole way in. He had it to the boat 3 times before it was able to get it to the net. His biggest fish to date! I'm dying to get him hooked into a musky. As you can see, I am one proud dad and can not wait tell we can get back out on the water again.
