BBZ -1 RAT Update: Yes they work very well in FL. Filming the Roland Martin show today and whacked some really good ones. Weather has not been the best here with north winds and water temp in low to mid 60s. Local tournament at the Big O was won with a low 20 pound bag yesterday but weather was warming today with a south wind and the top water bite started to pick up with Mr. Rat. This bait is flat out going to crush them when the water hits mid 70s and up. By the way, Roland Martin at age 75 is FLAT OUT INCREDIBLE! More drive and passion than most guys half his age. Up every morning at 4 am and doesn't put the rod down until.the sun sets.

At the time when the fishing world had limited understanding on how cold fronts affected bass, early views were inaccurately hypothesized to pretty much that cold front equates to tough fishing. In fact, cold fronts became a platitude vindication of bass anglers for not catching fish. Fortunately, blessed with decades of observation and experience, anglers had developed better understanding that would dispel some of the myths of cold fronts.

Unlike North America, the majority of anglers in literally hundreds of bass fishing locations across South-western Europe do not necessarily have the means to fish on large bodies of water, so to speak. With the high cost in boat ownership and differences in the region’s geographic makeup whereby bass is neither abundant nor widespread in Europe, anglers of this part of the world end up with shoreline fishing as their only option. Toulouse, south-west France, is a good example. Instead of big water fisheries, the urban ponds, small lakes and canals within the city limits, forms the core of the region’s growing bass fishing industry.
